I love springtime. My neighborhood is full of these redbud trees. They're so beautiful when they're blooming!

It's wedding season!

Saturday was the wedding of my friends Kat and Zak.

Kat and I met in 2005 when I started dancing again with the Celtic Academy. She and Zak met shortly thereafter, and the rest as they say is "history". Unbeknownst to me (for a short while) Zak and I actually attended high school together. We're the same age, but he graduated a year behind me. Even so, many of his friends are people I graduated with. It was very nostalgic at the wedding and reception, seeing people I hadn't seen since graduation.

Kat made a beautiful bride, and Zak was a handsome groom. I wish them the best!
