Prague Visit-Day 2

Thursday morning started off chilly, but we braved the weather and traveled to the city center. We took in Wenceslas Square, Old Town Square, Charles Bridge & Prague Castle.

We also made many stops to what has turned out to be one of my favorite places in Prague: Coffee Heaven.

We went to dinner at U Fleku, where Chrissy met us. It was a night of firsts for my Mom & Dad and Margie & Mike: first time tasting Czech food, first time drinking the black beer at U Fleku, and their first experience with Becherovka. The band at U Fleku played "Home on the Range" when they discovered we were Americans. It was a most enjoyable evening.

Very interesting article. You remind me my trip to Czech Republic last year.
Prague has to be one of the leading contenders for the title of most beautiful city in the world.
I spent one week there, which was long enough to see all of the tourist attractions, but I still want to go back and see them again. I liked my accommodation. Prague hotels are very good and not expensive.
The entire city is like a giant tapestry, perfectly varied in its design, full of a splendid array of outstanding and exemplary architecture. Gothic towers, Baroque facades, and Romanesque columns surround you as you weave your way through the twisting streets of Old Town. There are so many beautiful buildings, streets and monuments here.
